Spiral Plate Heat Exchanger

A spiral plate heat exchanger is a highly efficient and compact heat-transfer device constructed by rolling two parallel metal plates into a spiral channel. With the advantages of counter-current flow, self-cleaning turbulence, excellent fouling resistance, and natural absorption of thermal stress, it delivers up to 3× the heat-transfer efficiency of traditional shell-and-tube exchangers while occupying only 1/10 of the volume.
 
It is widely applied in energy, chemical processing, petrochemical, environmental protection, paper making, metallurgy, and waste-heat recovery systems, especially suitable for viscous media, particle-containing fluids, and corrosive process streams.
